As Head of Research of the Runnymede Trust, Keon is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of all Runnymede's research activities including leading the organisation's research team and delivery with oversight of research development, project portfolios and responsive research engagements.

Keon is also is a visiting professor of social psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, an Honorary Professor at University College London, a former president of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, and the author of The Science of Racism.
