About us

The Runnymede Trust is the UK’s leading race equality think tank. We generate research to challenge racial inequality in Britain.

For more than 50 years, we have worked tirelessly to build a Britain in which we all belong. Proudly independent, we speak truth to power on race and racism without fear or favour. We are not swayed by political agenda, profit or popular opinion. We are authentic, led by an ethnically diverse team we draw from our lived experience and that of our wide and inclusive community and partnership networks.

At the Runnymede Trust we are on an exciting journey to grow our organisation and our operational resilience. As we grow into a medium-size organisation there is huge opportunity to develop our systems, tools and operational processes to best support our team.

The role

This is a crucial role at the heart of the organisation and the post holder will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of operations/office management, HR, finance, digital platforms and compliance to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and enable our staff team to do their best work.

You will work closely with supportive colleagues to ensure that all operational management aspects are delivered timely and accurately. You will report to the Operations Director and work closely with the Head of Finance, Fundraising Manager and Partnerships Manager. We are a growing organisation, and this is a unique opportunity to grow and innovate with the organisation and to contribute to our future success.

Who we are looking for

You'll be the right person for this job if you're passionate about solving problems, no matter if they're big or small; and have a strong mindset of getting things done. You will also thrive with a varied workload and are brilliant at prioritisation and working at pace. This role involves lots of interpersonal work with colleagues and others so you will be energised by the possibility of helping and supporting others across the team to do their best work.
