An intrepid Runnymede supporter, who is committed to achieving race equality and prepared to do something about it, will abseil down the Olympic Park sculpture (the ArcelorMittal Orbit)on 30th September to raise money for ourwork. The 'Orbit' is the UK's highest freefall abseil.

Race equalitysupporter and amateur abseiler Gary Kakoullis, says:

"Hello, my name is Gary and I am an overweight 46-year-old white guy who is abseiling more than 370 ft to raise money for Runnymede.

I am doing this because I believe that everyone, regardless of race, sexuality or creed, should have their chance to shine.

The research and advocacy for equal access to education, employment, housing and more, provided by Runnymede promotes a level playing field, removing barriers so that all sections of our society can achieve their goals.

For me, this is about opportunity for everyone. If you share the dream that everyone should shine, please donate by visiting my JustGiving page.

Thank you."
