Preventing Racist Violence in the EU

This project followed up our initial research on Preventing Racist Violence in the UK through work with potential perpetrators by looking at practice in Europe.

Runnymede brought together practitioners working with young people in the field of racist violence prevention from Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and the Netherlands in a roundtable which took place in London in October 2009.

At the roundtable, participants discussed their respective projects around themes such as inter-agency work, support for staff working in this area, and issues around funding

The results of the roundtable were published in a report summarising good practice projects across Europe.
