The UK is a rapidly ageing and increasingly diverse society. The older population will, for the first time, include significant numbers of black and minority ethnic (BME) people from a wide range of backgrounds with different needs and preferences.

We have released a short film on the barriers to a decent retirement faced by Older BME people. Facing Financial Futures: Birmingham 2012 gives a voice to the participants of the deliberative assembly event we recently held with 50 people from different ethnic backgrounds.
