We will continue to support those groups by attending events & placing materials in our reception area. We will use our social media accounts to highlight cultural issues and challenge racism. We will ensure that racism is not tolerated or unchallenged in our workplace & will continue our robust recruitment policy of inclusion.

Our Pledge

We will ensure that BAME voices are not silenced but are adequately represented on our news site. We will challenge why there are only 4 BAME councillors out of 123. I will challenge two people at a time, persuading them to also in turn challenge two people at a time. Let's end this ignorance, two people at a time. I will also support others who are challenging racist behaviour, and share articles exploring race issues on social networks.
