This is Where I Live

Throughout 2003 and 2004 Runnymede worked with groups of young people across the UK to find out their views on the past, present and future of multi-ethnic Britain. Using the arts to stimulate discussion, the various projects have produced a high standard of work and a real contribution to policy debates.CCCCC

At the launch of the Virtual Exhibition one of the contributors, Courtney O'Shea (12) shared his aspiration for the project with an audience of policymakers including Charles Clarke, then Home Secretary;

I hope that adults will listen to what the young people in society have got to say. Not just listen but also put their thoughts into actions, and respect everyone
