Tariq Ramadan, Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University, gave the keynote speech. Other speakers at the event included Bastiaan Verberne of the Ramadan Festival in the Netherlands and Yasmin Sheikh, a youth worker presenting UKREN’s Young, Muslim & Citizen resource pack.
The event was held at Eversheds in central London, and co-hosted by CEDAR, the European Muslim Professionals Network, facilitated by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue.
