Runnymede supported the British Council and Migration Policy Group to develop MIPEX III, by acting as the UK Partner for this project between March 2010 and September 2011.
MIPEX measures policies to integrate migrants in 25 EU member states and three non-EU countries. It uses over 140 policy indicators to create a rich, multi-dimensional picture of migrants’ opportunities to participate in European societies. MIPEX covers 6 policy areas which shape a migrant’s journey to full citizenship: labour market access, family reunion, long-term residence, political participation, access to nationality and anti-discrimination. Since policies are measured against the same standards across all Member States, MIPEX acts as a “benchmarking” tool to compare performance.
For more information visit the MIPEX website.
As a national partner, we will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to:
better link the MIPEX with the current national policy and media debates
better link national and European policy debates
use the MIPEX results to move forward national agendas on integration policy improvement.
