Financial Inclusion and Ethnicity Summary Published

Runnymede recently completed its report, Financial Inclusion and Ethnicity. A summary of that report was published by Friends Provident Foundation in October 2008. Given the current economic situation in Britain, the question of access to banking, credit, insurance, savings and financial advice has become a maintream political concern. However, it remains important for policy to respond to those at greater risk of financial exclusion - including Black and minority ethnic people - even if our report's key suggestion that we need a broadersocial justice framework for understanding the causes and consequences of financial exclusion is applicable to everyone's access to financial goods and services in the UK today.
