Advocates of bussing should learn from British history and not just the US

Vicki Butler, Public Affairs Manager here at Runnymede, has written a blog post for the Huffington Post UK on one head teacher’s suggestion to bus children from “inner city estates … to schools in wealthier areas in an effort to lessen divisions between communities and get children to mix.”
The controversial suggestion came from David Lean, Head Teacher at City of London School for boys, an expensive private school.
