24 May 2012

Delegates from Spain, Latin America and Northern Europe learnt about Runnymede´s Generation 3.0 project at a conference in Seville yesterday (23 May). The conference, hosted by UNESCO and UNHabitat, focused on the theme of migrant inclusion in cities.

Generation 3.0 project manager, Vicki Butler, told delegates how an empty shop was transformed into an anti-racism discussion hub in the city of Manchester. She also highlighted how the project is an example of good practice at bringing together different ethnicities and age groups to discuss racism.
