Justice for Stephen Lawrence ‘not a cause for celebration’ but a call to action

Writing on the Runnymede blog, our director Rob Berkeley has argued that the Stephen Lawrence verdict is a “call to action” to end racism.
He states that despite changes in the law since Stephen Lawrence’s murder, the UK’s police, schools, councils and health service still regularly offer a worse service for people from black communities.
