Kingston Scorecard
Runnymede has launched the first race equality scorecard in Kingston.
The Scorecard project is an innovative way of collecting and monitoring data on racial inequalities and will enable local partners and stakeholders to hold service providers to account for racial inequalities in their areas.

The Runnymede Trust hosted its annual race debate in January, with this year's event focusing on whether racists have the right to be heard.

David Lammy elected chair of All Party Parliamentary Group on Race

The Labour MP David Lammy has been elected as the new chair of the All Party Group on Race and Community, which has just held its AGM. The meeting also featured Equality and Human Rights Commission chair Trevor Phillips as guest speaker.
Baronesses Ece and Whitaker were also elected as new vice-chairs of the group, joining long serving vice-chairs Lord Sheikh and Lord Lester.
At the meeting, Trevor Phillips addressed parliamentarians and attendees, speaking on issues including the importance of an equal economic recovery, in which all groups benefit from the creation of new jobs.
Runnymede currently acts as secretariat for the group.
