Get your nominations and applications in for the inaugural European Diversity Awards before Monday 4 July to be in with a chance of winning.

The application deadline has been extended until 4 July 2011 after a surge of interest, and the application form is straight forward, so should not be too cumbersome for you to complete before then.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London on 22 September.

By recognising those people and teams whose efforts have been so impactful and beneficial to improving the lives of minority groups across Europe, we celebrate their passion and drive, and we put their activities under the spotlight for others to recognise and emulate. This celebration will help fuel the ambition to help each of us to live without risk of prejudice and to fulfil every person’s potential and ambitions in all facets of their lives.

To achieve this state of wellbeing, many hours of work whether through professional engagement or through voluntary work have been expended by the broadest range of individuals and organisations. We believe the European Diversity Awards rightly congratulate and thank the people behind these endeavours for making Europe a better place for everyone to live.

The European Diversity Awards continue to attract interest from some of Europe’s best known organisations. Recent entrants include IBM, L&Q Housing Association, American Express (Europe) Limited, Ernst & Young, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, the Army, Société Générale and HSBC.

Please note: While some of the awards are open to corporate and public sector bodies, some are aimed specifically at not-for-profits organisation and the people working with and for them.

Nominations are free with organisations permitted to self-nominate for any number of awards.
