While the debate about multiculturalism continues to rage, Runnymede director Dr Rob Berkeley tackles the prime minister’s recent comments head on.
Rob defines multiculturalism as Runnymede understands it: “The existence and recognition of different identities in a shared political space within a framework of human rights.”
And he also points out: “Beyond the rhetorical attack, Cameron and others in his tradition have failed to offer any credible alternative to multiculturalism.”
