Scottish politicians write on race equality
21 December 2010
Political figures from the Scottish National Party, Labour, Liberal Democrat and Conservative parties have written about race equality in Scotland in a new report published by Runnymede.
The publication also includes academic responses by Ephraim Borowski, director of the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities (ScoJec) and Kay Hampton, Professor in Communities and Race Relations, Glasgow Caledonian University.
The four political essays are written by MSPs Robert Brown (Liberal Democrat), Johann Lamont (Labour) and Sir Jamie McGrigor (Conservative) and SNP Scottish Parliamentary candidate Humza Yousaf.
Runnymede will be holding an event in early 2011 on race equality in Scotland, which will be advertised on our website shortly.
