Online guidance on the Equality Act

Guidance on the Equality Act 2010 is now available from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).
The equality watchdog's website provides concise and clear information on the changes and implementation of the act.
The EHRC also provides news updates on government and equality issues, a code of practice for employers and employees, and explanatory notes.
The Equality Act 2010 was passed through parliament on 1 October 2010. The act simplifies and consolidates past equality-related legislation and other regulations centred on race, gender and disability.
