Ethnic Minorities Policing 'Problem'

New Scotland Yard signAccording to the Daily Telegraph on 3 July 1981, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir David McNee, speaking on BBC Radio 4 said that the remainder of the century would be a tough time for law and order: 'The greatest problem I will have in my commissionership and that my successor and probably his successor will have, is getting along with ethnic minorities in this great city.'
